Greenhouse in the Garden [selected]
This collection manifests an imaginative relationship between a greenhouse-an exclusive place and a garden-an inclusive place where the greenhouse is being installed. This relationship is arranged within a context of the current plastic threatening, the water pollution, and the global warming issue.
The malformed plants illustrated in this collection are created in the greenhouse (i.e. my atelier). Albeit living in an exclusively protected place, they are still affected by the environmental issues existing at the outside garden*, which shows an unavoidable connection between the two places. In this sense, the collection raises an awareness that these issues are sparing no creature, and currently impacting on every of us.
(*) My small garden is in front of my atelier and the plants being grown here were my muses.
